Job Summary 

The Learning Specialist is responsible for designing and developing learning and practicing experiences. The goal is to facilitate learners in acquiring knowledge, skills and competencies in an effective and engaging manner. The Learning Specialist will also support the LMS and measuring the success of materials and programs created.

 

What You’ll Do Here

  • Plan, create and deliver compelling and engaging content that enhances retention and transfer of knowledge
    • Write, edit and produce training videos
    • Write, design and publish training content guides
    • Create materials around industry best practices and use cases
    • Strategize training material based on current instructional design theories
  • Develop lessons and courses via LMS
  • Develop certification courses for product training
  • Monitor and analyze the effectiveness of training material
  • Gather feedback on training
  • Collaborate with stakeholders and SMEs to plan, create, review, and deliver training content
  • Ensure content aligns with company messaging and culture

What You’ll Bring to Us

  • Proven experience working in instructional design, with instructional technology and experience editing
  • Excellent understanding of learning theories and instructional design models
  • Solid understanding of Learning Management Systems
  • Visual design skills and ability to storyboard
  • Ability to write effective copy, instructional text, audio/video scripts
  • Proficient English, both in written and spoken
  • BS or MA degree in relevant field is preferred
  • Adept at using Google apps, Zoom, Slack or similar technologies
  • Exceptional project management skills to drive projects to successful completion
