About the Marketing Team

Marketing sits right at the heart of it all, between Product and Sales. We’re a team of social media marketing specialists, SEO specialists, content creators, campaign managers, copywriters, community managers, and email specialists, and we’re the ones who catch customer leads for our Sales department. How do we do that? We create progressive and personalized Emplifi content and publish it across all communication channels - social media, web, email campaigns, podcasts, and more. 

The important part is that we measure everything we do, and use what we learn about our content, and our audiences, to keep improving, learning, and creating content that gets results. And the best thing about being a part of Emplifi’s Marketing department is you’ll be working with other marketing-obsessed people in an atmosphere of energetic, fast-moving creativity, with great ideas bouncing all over the place.

 

Job Summary

Emplifi is seeking a Graphic Designer to join our Marketing Design Studio team. An ideal candidate will have a passion for creating solutions for our team in a fast-paced and fun environment. Experience working with a professional team, of various skill levels and expertise, is necessary to the success of this role. Emplifi’s Marketing Team not only drives the company’s visual message but propels the brand and provides services and solutions that exceed expectations every day. We’re looking for an in-house Graphic Designer that not only has a passion for design but a drive for perfection and an attention to detail. In this role you will be responsible for creating print and electronic designs across a variety of product suites, teams, and campaigns.

 

What You’ll Do Here

  • Conceptualise, design and implement creative graphics projects on time and within budget
  • Create aesthetically pleasing design solutions 
  • Receive creative direction
  • Research and experiment with various industry trends
  • Act as a subject matter expert for the design and marketing team
  • Communicate with internal stakeholders to understand project needs
  • Work closely with the Art Director on project direction, workload, and deadlines
  • Work with agencies
  • Maintain brand consistency and design standards in the execution of marketing materials
  • Assist in the acquisition and maintenance of the stock photography library for marketing
  • Ensure photography attains styling guidelines, shot objectives and project delivers as scheduled and within budget
  • Develop and design advertisement layouts inclusive of copy and images
  • Lead responsibility for revisions to approvals, artwork, and information accuracy
  • Coordinate release and processing of files at printer and prepress
  • Ensure precision of file establishment and parameters for every outgoing artwork
  • Assist others with creative thinking as well as brainstorming sessions
  • Support marketing department with print and design to coordinate entire corporate uniqueness plus collateral materials
  • Assist with intranet and web site design
  • Manage utilisation and archive of all project assets
  • Design and maintain asset templates

 

What You’ll Bring to Us

  • 1-3 years of professional experience in an agency-type environment
  • Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite, MS Office 365, Google Workplace Apps
  • Experience with Bynder DAM, Contentful CMS, and Marketo a plus
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating range of abilities
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
  • Experience presenting work to Leadership teams and stakeholders
  • Experience with a variety of design deliverables
  • Experience in video and/or web design a plus
  • Self-motivated with a desire to grow as a professional
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to communicate openly and effectively
  • Proven time management skills in an agency-type environment
  • Comfortable in an extremely fast-paced environment with shifting priorities
