Job Summary

Are you a visionary leader with a passion for driving revenue growth? We're seeking a Vice President of Global Sales Operations to lead our strategic initiatives and optimize our sales performance on a global scale. In this role, you will collaborate closely with the Chief Revenue Officer (CRO) to align our sales operations with business objectives, enhance efficiency, and maximize revenue generation. What You’ll Do Here

Strategic Alignment and Performance Optimization

  • Partner with the CRO to align sales operations with overarching business goals and market dynamics.
  • Lead annual Go-To-Market planning efforts, ensuring alignment with company objectives and market trends.
  • Support the CRO in implementing strategic Go-To-Market changes to enhance sales effectiveness.

Operational Excellence and Process Enhancement

  • Streamline sales processes and workflows to improve efficiency and agility.
  • Oversee the deal desk operations, providing transaction assistance and ensuring smooth deal processing.
  • Drive pipeline management and forecast cadence to ensure accurate sales forecasting.

Cross-Functional Collaboration and Change Management

  • Foster collaboration and alignment with key stakeholders across departments (Finance, Legal, Revenue Operations, Reporting and Analytics, Product and Marketing).
  • Act as a liaison with key stakeholders to ensure sales operations initiatives are integrated seamlessly.
  • Lead efforts related to non-standard approvals and assist with deal structuring to optimize deal value.

Talent Development and Leadership

  • Cultivate a high-performing sales operations team through effective leadership and professional development initiatives.
  •  Provide coaching and support to empower team members and drive success.
  •  Drive sales programs and enablement initiatives to enhance sales effectiveness, including cross-sales and personalized enablement.

Market Insight and Customer Focus

  •  Stay informed of market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments.
  •  Champion a customer-centric approach to sales operations, ensuring that processes are designed to meet and exceed customer expectations.
  • Serve as a pricing liaison with marketing to develop pricing strategies aligned with market dynamics and customer needs.

 

What You’ll Bring to Us

  • Bachelor's degree in business, finance, or a related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in sales operations, experience with software sales required and with software companies backed by PE or Venture Capital preferred. 
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to gather, analyze, and interpret data.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
