Job Summary

The Customer Marketing Associate (Cross Sell) will be responsible for maintaining and fostering relationships with Customers. As a Customer Marketing Associate, you'll define the strategy, events, interaction, and follow-up to ensure that the target customers are engaged and supported in using Emplifi. Your goal will be to foster customer connection and provide high levels of customer satisfaction that drive the cross-selling and upselling of Emplifi products.


What You’ll Do Here

  • Work closely with leadership, including marketing, services, sales, and others, to ensure customer success with our platform, spanning training, reference management, and campaigns that drive cross-sell and upsell of customers
  • Drive creative and engaging activities across geographies while supporting the interests of many
  • Research, identify, and manage interactive events that bring customers together, including user conferences, roadshows, and industry-specific roundtables both in person and virtual
  • Work with the product marketing team to communicate product updates to clients via the application, virtual and in person events, an pushed (email/ad based) messages
  • Create and manage the product marketing communications calendar and share updates with customers on the latest advancements in our platform/products
  • Establish and run customer advisory boards in conjunction with Product Management to ensure customers' needs are heard
  • Play a major part in the strategy and execution of the Customer user conference both in the US and Internationally
  • Identify third-party experts that could be engaged and continue to build trust between Emplifi and our Customers
  • Drive reuse of demand gen campaigns and the assets for customers
  • Manage event logistics and budget, delivering high-quality experiences within the budget allocated
  • Report on Customer interactions across target accounts and target individuals, report on revenue impacted by these activities

What You’ll Bring to Us

  • BS/MS degree in marketing or a related field
  • 3+ years of customer or demand gen marketing with B2B SaaS companies 
  • Proven ability to engage with clients
  • Capable of learning our platform and investigating our client's use of the platform 
  • Excellent writing and speaking skills
  • Strong analytical skills and knowledge of data collection methods (surveys, focus groups, etc.)
  • Skilled in the use of (but not config) Salesforce, Marketo, and other marketing tools
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to adjust to changing dynamics
  • Experience in working with 3rd party vendors, including negotiations, managing contracts and budgets 
  • An enthusiastic, high-energy team member who is viewed as a “doer” on the team and across internal organizations 
  • Willing to travel as needed to activities/events
