About the Marketing Team

Marketing sits right at the heart of it all, between Product and Sales. We’re a team of social media marketing specialists, SEO specialists, content creators, campaign managers, copywriters, community managers, and email specialists, and we’re the ones who catch customer leads for our Sales department. How do we do that? We create progressive and personalized Emplifi content and publish it across all communication channels - social media, web, email campaigns, podcasts, and more. 

The important part is that we measure everything we do, and use what we learn about our content, and our audiences, to keep improving, learning, and creating content that gets results. And the best thing about being a part of Emplifi’s Marketing department is you’ll be working with other marketing-obsessed people in an atmosphere of energetic, fast-moving creativity, with great ideas bouncing all over the place.


What You’ll Do Here

Go-To-Market Strategy & Messaging

  • Develop and align the organization on product value propositions from the lens of the customer, including crafting market messages, positioning, business value propositions, unique selling points for the marketing, sales enablement and sales teams
  • Analyze and distill insights about customers’ usage of current products, untapped opportunities and buyer personas through interviews, surveys, and data
  • Represent the voice of the customer, defining sales plays guides that all go-to-market teams can rally around, including marketing and sales activation programs
  • Grow the product awareness for C-Suite level personas, including CXO and CMOs through product position and messaging
    Collaborate with the product team on pre-planning to ensure a strategic, value-driven roadmap vision as well as deliver all needed materials for key software releases
  • Guide enablement teams to land sales plays and releases in the regions. Create meaningful sales collateral that facilitates conversations at the right stages of the sales cycle

Competitive Intelligence Programs

  • Build out product messaging that sets new products apart from others in the market to give them a unique selling point
  • Collate and train on battle stories and best practices from the field to win and retain customers
  • Provide tailored recommendations from Win/Loss reports for product, sales, and marketing teams
  • Support Growth Marketing displacement campaigns with competitive know-how

Thought Leadership and Content Creation

  • Provide vision and expertise at external corporate/industry events, and webinars
  • Be a critical spokesperson for media, influencer and industry analyst sessions
  • Help design and be able to deliver demonstrations of the software
  • Help contribute to and/or create effective marketing content such as blogs, data sheets, infographics, web content, ad copy, and SEO/SEM recommendations that helps accelerate the buyer journey from awareness and consideration to purchase
  • Share best practices on our own webinars, podcasts, live videos


What You’ll Bring to Us

  • 5+ years of product marketing experience, preferably in SaaS or B2B
  • Understanding of both sales and marketing processes
  • Strong communication and presentation skills (both written and spoken) – foreign languages a plus
  • Ability to distill complex ideas into engaging content, enablement and demos
  • Skilled in technical writing (white papers)
  • Attention to detail, strong writing, editing skills, an eye for visual design
  • Technically oriented, can easily pick up new technologies (experience with digital marketing software a plus)
  • Able to work cross-functionally and manage multiple stakeholders
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, ability to work under a deadline
  • A self-starter, with the ability to plan and prioritize both quick wins and long-term initiatives
  • BA or BS in business, marketing or communications
