About the Global IT Operations Team

The Global IT Operations team is made up of team members in the US, CA, and Czech Republic. It is responsible for handling all business applications and End-user infrastructure in the company. It supports approximately 850 employees and contractors. The team is led out of Prague, Czech Republic. 

Job Summary

The job is ultimately to be responsible for keeping Emplifi’s employees up and running. The perfect candidate will be service-oriented and enjoy creating excellent experiences for our internal customers. They will also be fluent in the company’s lingua franca, namely English. This job will be mainly on-site, although there is some flexibility. 

What You’ll Do Here:

  • Monitoring and maintaining IT systems and services all around the world (11 offices)
  • Resolving help desk escalations (MacOS, Windows)
  • Solving everyday users’ and technical issues within the offices 
  • Managing and maintaining company HW and SW tools, management of company technical equipment, keeping records, arranging maintenance
  • Training employees
  • Creating technical documentation and other non-technical manuals
  • Vendor management and communication with suppliers
  • Automating and innovating internal processes

What You'll Bring to Us:

  • Very good overview and interest in the IT field, including audio/video
  • Experience with everyday communication with clients (internal/external) 
  • Proactive customer-oriented approach to people from both technical and non-technical departments
  • Experience with below listed systems on the administrator level:
    • Google Workspace
    • Okta or similar SSO solutions 
    • Atlassian (Jira/Confluence)
    • MDM (Kandji/Workspace One or similar)
    • Communication platforms (Slack, Google meet, Zoom, etc)
    • Security software and password manager
  • Advanced knowledge of OS Windows and Mac OS; knowledge of Linux/Unix is an advantage
  • Knowledge of networking and security basics 
  • Good time management, ability to meet deadlines and finish assigned projects, analytical thinking
  • Interest in simplifying and automating tasks
  • Ability to work independently, but be a team player
  • Experience with programming languages is an advantage
  • Fluency in English for everyday communication with colleagues and suppliers is obligatory; good knowledge of Czech language is preferable, but is not obligatory
