Job Summary

We seek a dynamic Director of Strategic Partnerships to spearhead our partnership initiatives. This role requires strategic thinking, relationship management and a deep understanding of the SaaS landscape. This leader will be responsible for building, navigating, and continue to grow our partner relationship with Social Media Platforms ((ie; Meta, TikTok, X, Snap, YouTube, LinkedIn, etc.)

Location: US Remote (Bay Area preferred)

 

What You’ll Do Here

Strategic Development:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive partnership strategy with Social Media Platforms (ie; Meta, TikTok, X, Snap, YouTube, LinkedIn, etc.) that is aligned with the company's business goals.
  • Identify potential partnership opportunities that lead to revenue growth, customer acquisition, and product enhancement.
  • Develop KPIs and metrics to measure the success and impact of partnerships.

Partnership Management:

  • Cultivate and nurture relationships with existing social media partners to ensure mutual success.
  • Act as a primary point of contact for all strategic partnership discussions.
  • Monitor and report on the effectiveness of each individual partnership, adjusting strategies as needed.

Negotiation:

  • Collaborate with the legal team to ensure compliance and risk mitigation in all partnerships.
  • Be involved in contract negotiations with partners, ensuring that agreements are favorable and align with the company's objectives.

Internal Collaboration:

  • Work closely with product, sales, marketing, and other internal teams to identify and prioritize opportunities within the social media platforms.
  • Ensure seamless integration and collaboration between partners and internal teams.

Industry Engagement:

  • Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and trade shows to foster relationships and showcase the company's offerings.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitor partnerships.

 

What You’ll Bring to Us

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field. An MBA is a plus.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in strategic partnerships, preferably in a SaaS environment.
  • Proven track record of establishing successful partnerships and achieving revenue targets.
  • Existing relationships with Social Media Platforms (ie; Meta, TikTok, X, Snap, YouTube, LinkedIn, etc.) is preferred.
  • Strong business acumen.
  • Excellent interpersonal and leadership abilities.
  • Ability to think strategically and execute methodically.
  • Familiarity with the SaaS industry, its challenges, and opportunities.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
