Job Summary

Emplifi, a leading customer experience platform, is looking for a hands-on Internal Communications & Employee Experience Director to join our global Marketing Communications team. The Internal Communications & Employee Experience Director will be responsible for working across functions and geographies to make sure employees are kept informed and motivated.

 

What You’ll Do Here

  • Establish an internal communications strategy in conjunction with senior leadership
  • Ensure organisational initiatives and projects are successfully communicated to employees and stakeholders
  • Plan, edit and write content for a variety of internal communications mediums, such as an internal communications portal, emails, Slack
  • Ensure internal communications messages are consistent across all mediums and for different departments of the organisation
  • Advise senior executives of developments throughout the organisation, either face to face or through regular written communication
  • Partner with VP and Director level leadership to ensure a memorable, positive employee experience at all phases of the employee lifecycle to promote retention and satisfaction
  • Plan and execute employee engagement events and hands-on activities which further Emplifi’s commitment to our core values, and diversity, equity and inclusion
  • Leverage a data-driven approach to employee experience and engagement, consistently seeking and sharing innovative ideas and opportunities for improvement
  • Partner with cross-functional teams, such as Human Resources and Customer Experience, on high-visibility projects which impact employee experience
  • Perform hands-on project management including timeline and deliverables, monitoring and status reporting, and budget tracking
  • Partner with Human Resources on Employer Branding initiatives such as hiring campaigns, career web content, HR marketing tools and content
  • Partner with Human Resources on regular collocation of employee feedback via surveys, polls
  • Support PR and HR with Great Place to Work and other recognition programs

What You’ll Bring to Us

  • Seasoned communications professional with a proven track record of delivery on major communications and campaigns
  • Excellent English skills with a high standard of written English
  • 6+ year employee engagement, employee experience, and/or internal communications experience in either in-house or agency role
  • Strong project management, communication, time management, organizational skills
  • Creative, out of the box approach to problem solving
  • A passion for company culture and creating a unique a differentiated employee experience
  • Strong executive presence and track record of cultivating strong and trusting relationships with cross-functional partners and executive leaders
  • Organized with keen attention to detail, possesses the ability to own and execute tasks efficiently as a self-starter
  • Comfortable leading several projects simultaneously with a structured approach and pivoting in a fast-paced, evolving environment
  • Prior experience working with remote team members and partners
  • Prior experience with mergers and acquisitions and cultural integration would be advantageous, but is not a must
  • French as an additional language would be advantageous, but is not a must
