About the Finance Team 

Emplifi’s finance teams are in the Czech Republic and USA. We work together. We know our numbers but work with an open mind. Challenges motivate us. We've all got a lot in common, and we share the same mission: precision, teamwork, professionalism.

A tax team is an integral part of the finance team and is based in the Czech Republic. We are responsible for the management of the Emplifi global tax compliance, in particular: (i) income tax compliance, (ii) indirect tax compliance and (iii) transfer pricing. We actively work with our tax advisors in various jurisdictions and support other teams with respect to tax issues.

 

What You’ll Do Here

  • You will be a part of tax team managed by a tax director.
  • A primary focus on indirect tax compliance of Emplifi Group.
    • Key stakeholder for filing coordination and cooperation with our external tax preparers in filing tax returns in various jurisdictions.
    • Tax account reconciliations and active cooperation with other finance teams (billing, AP).
    • Active participation in tax registration assessment processes and tax registrations in various jurisdictions.
    • Responsibility over internal processes to deliver appropriate information to our preparers.
  • Coordinate with auditors in tax portion of annual-end audit.
  • Identify and evaluate tax risks (participating in the process).
  • Supervise special projects as allocated by a tax director from time to time.
  • Participate in process development and coordinate with business units along with tax systems and process improvement.
  • Communication and cooperation with various business stakeholders.



What You’ll Bring to Us

  • High school or university degree in Economy/Finance
  • Advanced English (at least B1-B2) and fluent Czech language – daily communication
  • Strong IT skills – MS Office
  • High work commitment, flexibility, reliability
  • Work experience not required, but can be advantage
