The EU Digital Services Act (DSA) – Regulation (EU) 2022/2065 – is a comprehensive legal framework that applies to providers of digital services across the European Union. Its purpose is to create a safer, more transparent, and accountable online environment, ensuring that users are protected from disinformation, illegal goods, illegal content, and online harms such as cyber-violence.

Emplifi has processes in place that allow individuals to report content that may be illegal (e.g., defamatory material, hate speech, terrorist content, or other prohibited content under EU law) or infringing (e.g., intellectual property rights violations).
Once a report is received, Emplifi validates the information and, where appropriate, will remove or restrict access to the content. If the violation is serious or repeated, Emplifi may also suspend or deactivate the responsible account.

Emplifi has designated a dedicated point of contact for EU individuals and regulators, including the European Commission, Member State authorities, and the European Board for Digital Services.

In addition to DSA obligations, all users of Emplifi’s platforms and websites must comply with our Acceptable Use Policy (here and here) which prohibits illegal content or content that, while potentially legal, is inconsistent with the purpose and values of Emplifi’s services.Where Emplifi becomes aware of such content, it will be reviewed and removed where appropriate, and repeat violations may lead to account suspension or termination.
