Emplifi bolsters its leadership team with appointment of new Chief Revenue Officer and Chief Growth Officer

Emplifi focuses on growth with two new executive appointments

New York, November 3, 2022Emplifi, the leading unified customer experience platform, today announced two executive appointments, with Ken Smith joining as Chief Revenue Officer and Vijayanta Gupta as Chief Growth Officer, reporting directly to Emplifi CEO Mark Zablan.

In his capacity as CRO, Smith will oversee Emplifi’s global field sales operations. He will focus on building lasting relationships with customers, hiring and developing the best talent, and he will draw from his experience executing go-to-market programs at industry-leading companies like Adobe, Lithium Technologies, and SafeBreach, to make sure Emplifi delivers long-term value to its customers. Ken brings over 20 years of experience in customer-facing roles across high-growth industries like digital marketing, customer experience, and IT security.

In the newly created CGO role, Vijayanta will be responsible for accelerating growth through strategic investments and expanding the ecosystem of partnerships that extend through the Emplifi CX platform. He brings more than 20 years of experience building strategic programs with highly successful tech companies like Sitecore, Adobe, Microsoft, and Accenture. His most recent position was as Senior Vice President for Growth Strategy at Salsify, where he drove the worldwide product go-to-market strategy, pricing, and competitive strategy.

The appointment of Ken and Vijayanta adds to the growth-focused momentum around Emplifi’s recent acquisition of Pixlee TurnTo, a US-based industry-leading provider of user-generated content (UGC), ratings and reviews, and influencer marketing solutions. With Pixlee TurnTo, Emplifi’s CX platform now offers brands an even broader and deeper set of solutions to enable them to engage with today’s modern consumer where they are, on social and digital channels.
